Wild Geese 1999
This Puppet Show takes us on a journey with the teachings of Buddha through the poem, Wild Geese by Mary Oliver.
Trying to avoid the pain of life, we run from our bodies, from the present moment, only making it worse. The only refuge is allowing ourselves to fall through the holes in our lives, landing in these little deaths – so we can live with more ease and happiness. We gather up the bones tenderly and open to what is right now.
Mary Oliver’s Wild Geese is the language, as the images are projected on a large screen.
Only part of the story board below, is available. This is Mary Oliver’s complete poem, Wild Geese.
