Female Principle Rises 1977

I celebrate Feminism.  This means respect, honor and equality of all that is female, including  the female side of men.  All of us have both feminine and masculine qualities. When embraced, these make us more complete.

We’ve broken the whole into separate and unequal parts. Women, body, earth, black  are on one side; men, mind, spirit, white are on the other. This sick thinking creates sick culture.

Separating and dishonoring half of ourselves, half the world, and the earth herself,  causes unspeakable suffering. This denies our true nature, the ways we are one, connected to each other and the earth.
