White Pine 2011

For many summers, I do an art retreat with two artist friends camping in St. Croix State Park, MN. 

The first year, I spotted a specific White Pine and painted it many times. Every year I recognize this same pine that I love. White Pines are eccentric. They each have a different and very odd shape.
